Settle in for an evening of great food and even better wine at Café the Plaza’s Food & Wine Pairing Dinner on Friday, May 23rd. Starting at 6:30 PM, this 5-course experience brings together bold flavors and expertly chosen wines, all for $55 per person.

Each course has been carefully paired to highlight the textures, aromas, and notes of the dish and the wine. Here's what's in store:

Course 1
Potato Soup topped with crispy bacon
Paired with: Hans Baer Riesling – Mosel, Germany
A creamy, savory starter balanced by the light sweetness of a crisp Riesling.

Course 2
Red Beet with Goat Cheese – arugula, strawberry jam, balsamic, and carrots
Paired with: Bonterra Organic Sauvignon Blanc – California, USA
Bright, fresh, and slightly tart, this pairing delivers clean, refreshing contrast.

Course 3
Coq au Vin – served with mashed potato
Paired with: Caposaldo Chianti – Tuscany, Italy

Course 4
Surf & Turf – tenderloin, shrimp skewer, potatoes, broccoli & salsa verde
Paired with: Joseph Carr Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley, USA

Course 5
Pineapple Carpaccio – with vanilla ice cream and red fruit
Paired with: Bartenura Moscato – Piemonte, Italy
