A Festive Day of Herring at Café the Plaza

The Dutch tradition of ‘Haring Happen’ continues at Café the Plaza when the first herring of the season is flown in. On Friday, June 17 as of 12 pm, local lovers of “Hollandse Nieuwe” will flock to The Plaza to sample this delicacy. Outside on the terrace, beside the fresh herring, “kibbeling” will be available as well. During the whole day guests can enjoy a line-up of live bands and DJ’s, starting at 12 noon: DJ Bradley Fonseca, Travel Sessions Band, DJ Edje, and Honeypot. It will be a day full of celebrations, fun, and activities like Dino Jump for the little ones!
