It is known that good food and good wine go hand in hand. But when appropriately paired, wine and food can enhance each other’s flavors, making them more pronounced and rendering the entire taste experience more satisfying. That is why the culinary experts at ‘Fishes & More’ have come up with the ultimate food and wine pairing event on Friday, August 12th, and you are invited!
The menu kicks off with tuna & salmon tartare, served with guacamole, wakame salad, wasabi cream, and lemon oil. This first course is paired with Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc. The second course will consist of shrimp & scallops and is paired with William Hill Chardonnay. If your taste buds have not been teased enough, you will be even more pleased when the smoked tuna is served and paired with a MacMurray Pinot Noir. The ‘More’ in the name of this restaurant is honored when the chef serves you filet mignon & corvina, accompanied by eryngii mushroom, potato wedges, green beans and topped with pepper mushroom sauce. The wine connoisseurs of local wine supplier Pepia Est Aruba have paired this course with a Louis M. Martini Cabernet Sauvignon. To complete the evening, a delicious ‘brownie heaven’ with chocolate mousse is complemented by an Orin Swift- 8 Years in the Desert Zinfandel.
