Fishes & More Restaurant in the Arawak Garden is getting ready for Restaurant Week, a week-long extravaganza that involves a three-course meal for a steal.
In the month of September, visitors and locals alike are looking forward to the Aruba Wine and Dine Restaurant Week. It is a week-long festival of crazy prices and wonderful menus at nine of the most popular restaurants on the island. For just AWG. 45 ($ 25.75) you are presented with mouthwatering three-course menus. The chefs of the various restaurants have come up with tasty combinations, proudly showcasing their restaurants. In short: check out the 9th AWD Restaurant Week on Aruba, which is held from September 11 – 18, and enjoy dinner at Hadicurari, MooMba Beach, Nos Clubhuis, Salt & Pepper Restaurant, Tango, Fishes & More, Dragonfly, Café the Plaza and Que Pasa.
The restaurant’s menu starts off with two appetizer choices: a fish velouté soup or a shrimp salad crostini au gratin. Main courses are either a swordfish fillet, served with sautéed white onions, tomatoes and parsley with a sauce of butter, white wine and lime juice, a 6 oz tenderloin with caramelized onions and a red wine sauce or a chicken pasta primavera with sautéed chicken breast, vegetables and a marinara sauce served over linguini. Dessert is a passion fruit mousse. Popular Fishes & More will surely amaze you with this perfectly balanced dinner, for which beer and wine specials are available as well.
Part of the Restaurant Week’s profits will go to Maris Stella, the home for Aruba’s elderly. It is just one more reason to go out to dinner at the AWD restaurants during this super special, delicious week. And a tip: please make your reservations in advance, as these will give you the best seats in the house.
The ninth edition of Restaurant Week promises to be an unforgettable culinary experience – don’t forget to be part of it!
